Overview
The Messages Card displays unread messages from the three most recent conversation threads and also provides access to the mobile app’s messaging feature where drivers can send and receive messages.
Messages can be sent and received via App Manager, or via API. For API-specific guidance, refer to Messaging.
Creating a Messages Card
Within App Manager, navigate to App Configuration> Dashboards
Within the relevant dashboard, select +Add a card
Navigate to Type and select Messages
App Manager auto-generates a Header - replace the auto-generated text with desired text
The Header will be displayed in the mobile app
Add optional inputs:
Select an Icon - icons are displayed to the left of the Header in the app
Select Save
Editing a Messages Card
Within the relevant Dashboard, select the Messages Card to edit
Make the desired modifications
Select Save to apply changes
To abandon modifications, select Discard Changes
NOTE: Saved changes appear immediately in the mobile app
Deleting a Messages Card
Within the relevant Dashboard, select the Messages Card to delete
Select Delete
Upon confirmation, the Messages Card is immediately removed from the Dashboard and is no longer visible within the mobile app
